Adela Jušić is the winner of the Young Artists Prize CEE 2011. Yesterday evening the young woman from Bosnia opened the presentation of art work entitled “Artists in Residence 01/2012” together with Dritan Hyska and Mladen Bundalo. The videos of Adela Jušić were shown, which particularly dealt with the war in her homeland and particularly with the role of women during the conflict.
The exhibition will be held from March 8, 2012 to April 5, 2012 (Monday – Friday 2-6 p.m.) at Galerie ArtPoint, Universitätsstraße 5, 1010 Vienna. For more details refer to www.kulturkontakt.or.at/artpoint
Adela Jušić is the winner of the Henkel Young Artists Prize CEE. This award has been offered since 2002 to artists participating in the Artists-in-Residence Program of KulturKontakt Austria in addition to the main prize, the Henkel Art.Award., and is organized jointly by Henkel Central Eastern Europe and KulturKontakt Austria.
