For the first time the Henkel Art.Award. is given to an Estonian artist

For the eleventh time, Henkel Central Eastern Europe (CEE) is bestowing the Henkel Art.Award. for Eastern Europe, featuring a monetary prize of 7,000 euros and two individual exhibitions – thus comprising a total value of 35,000 euros. “With this art prize Henkel aims to make a contribution to the cultural understanding of the Eastern Europe region. We are delighted that more artists in more than 20 countries in the region have submitted more than 25,000 works of art over the past eleven years”, says Günter Thumser, President of Henkel CEE, on the occasion of the gala award ceremony held at the Imperial Stables of the museum moderner kunst – mumok (Museum of Modern Art) in Vienna.
