Youth Artist's Prize
Finally, the Ukrainian artistic duo of Nickolay Ridniy and Anna Kriventsova, who together comprise the SOSka Group, were given the Henkel Art.Award. 2007 for Young Artists in Central and Eastern Europe (in cooperation with the Artists-in-Residence Program of KulturKontakt Austria).The main themes expressed in the works of both artists are homelessness and poverty. By means of video stories and public events, they ironically and critically describe life in Charkow, focusing on the protest against the prevailing rules of the system.
