R&D Expenditures
Expenditure on research and development at Henkel amounted to 350 million euros in 2007, compared to 340 million euros in the previous year. The share of sales (R&D ratio) thus remained unchanged at 2.7 percent. Of the total, we spent 36 million euros on corporate research and 314 million euros on the product and process development activities of the business sectors.
