Since 1984, Henkel Central Eastern Europe has been expanding its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. Henkel Budapest, its first subsidiary in the region, was established in 1987. Henkel Central Eastern Europe has been growing steadily since then. This dynamic expansion drive aimed at opening up new markets is still continuing, and serves as the guarantee of a successful future.
Presence in Central and Eastern Europe
Henkel Central Eastern Europe is responsible for managing business operations in 31 countries. Besides Austria, these are Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Rumania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Yugoslavia.
This region covers a market of almost 500 million people. Henkel CEE employs over 10.000 people.
