Since 1984, Henkel Central Eastern Europe has been expanding its presence in Central and Eastern Europe. Henkel Budapest, its first subsidiary in the region, was established in 1987. Henkel Central Eastern Europe has been growing steadily since then. This dynamic expansion drive aimed at opening up new markets is still continuing, and serves as the guarantee of a successful future.

Presence in Central and Eastern Europe

Henkel CEE coordinates Henkel’s business operations in 32 countries in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in Central Asia. In addition to Austria, Henkel CEE has management responsibility for Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

This region covers a market of about 500 million people. Henkel CEE employs close to 9.500 people.
